Ingredients
- Sweetened Condensed Milk: 1 (14 ounce) can
- Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips: 2 cups
- White Chocolate Chips: 1 cup
- Marshmallow Creme: 7 ounces (1 jar)
- Vanilla Extract: 1 teaspoon
- Red Gel Food Coloring: 1/2 teaspoon
- Edible Fake Blood: As needed for topping
- Halloween Sprinkles: As needed for topping
Instructions
- Step 1: Line an 8×8 inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang for easy removal.
- Step 2: In a large, microwave-safe bowl, combine the sweetened condensed milk and both chocolate chips (semi-sweet and white). Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring after each interval, until completely melted and smooth.
- Step 3: Stir in the marshmallow creme and vanilla extract until fully incorporated. The mixture should be thick and glossy.
- Step 4: Quickly stir in the red gel food coloring until you achieve a desired "bloody" hue. Be careful not to overmix.
- Step 5: Pour the fudge mixture into the prepared pan and spread evenly. Immediately drizzle with edible fake blood and sprinkle with Halloween sprinkles.
- Step 6: Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until the fudge is firm. Use the parchment paper overhang to lift the fudge out of the pan and cut into squares. Serve chilled and enjoy your spooktacular treat!
Notes
- Store leftover Vampire Fudge in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week to maintain its firm texture.
- While not recommended, if you must soften the fudge, microwave individual pieces for just a few seconds to prevent melting.
- Cut the chilled fudge into spooky shapes with cookie cutters for an extra touch of Halloween fun.
- Don't overmix the red food coloring – streaks of red create a more realistic "bloody" effect.
