Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, melted
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup strong brewed coffee, cooled
Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- Step 2: In a large bowl, combine melted butter and sugar. Beat until smooth. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla.
- Step 3: In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Do not overmix.
- Step 4: Pour batter into prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with moist crumbs attached.
- Step 5: While brownies are still warm, poke holes all over the top with a fork. Slowly pour the cooled brewed coffee evenly over the brownies.
- Step 6: Let cool completely before cutting into squares and serving. Dust with cocoa powder before serving, if desired.
Notes
- To keep your Ultimate Tiramisu Brownies extra fudgy, store them in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
- A quick zap in the microwave (10-15 seconds) will bring back that warm, gooey brownie texture – perfect with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
- For a true tiramisu experience, serve these brownies chilled with a dollop of mascarpone cheese and a dusting of cocoa.
- Don't skip poking holes! It helps the coffee soak in for that signature tiramisu flavour, making every bite heavenly.
