Ingredients
- Large Croissants: 2
- Cooked Turkey Breast: 8 ounces, sliced
- Turkey Bacon: 6 slices
- Cooked Chicken Breast: 4 ounces, shredded
- Swiss Cheese: 4 slices
- Dijon Mustard: 2 tablespoons
- Mayonnaise: 2 tablespoons
- Lettuce: 4 large leaves
Instructions
- Step 1: Cook the turkey bacon according to package directions until crispy. Drain excess grease on a paper towel.
- Step 2: Slice the croissants in half horizontally. Spread Dijon mustard on the bottom half of each croissant and mayonnaise on the top half.
- Step 3: Layer lettuce, Swiss cheese, sliced turkey, shredded chicken and turkey bacon on the bottom half of each croissant.
- Step 4: Place the top half of the croissants on top of the filling.
- Step 5: Serve immediately or wrap securely for later consumption. For a warm sandwich, microwave for 30 seconds to melt the cheese.
Notes
- For best flavor, wrap assembled croissants tightly in plastic wrap and refrigerate for up to 24 hours before serving.
- To reheat, skip the microwave for a crispier croissant; instead, try a panini press or a quick toast in a dry skillet.
- Serve your loaded croissant with a side of cranberry sauce or a light green salad for a balanced meal.
- Don't be shy with the Dijon—its tang cuts through the richness of the meats and cheese, elevating the whole experience!
