Instructions
- Step 1: In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, minced garlic, sesame oil, ginger, and red pepper flakes (if using).
- Step 2: Place chicken breasts in a resealable bag or shallow dish. Pour honey garlic sauce over chicken, ensuring they are evenly coated. Marinate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours in the refrigerator.
- Step 3: Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a baking dish.
- Step 4: Place marinated chicken breasts in the prepared baking dish.
- Step 5: Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through and internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C). Baste with remaining sauce halfway through cooking.
