Delicious honey garlic butter shrimp and broccoli: an incredible one-pan wonder recipe with detailed instructions and nutritional information.

  • Total Time: 35 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients

  • Shrimp, peeled and deveined: 1 pound
  • Broccoli florets: 4 cups
  • Butter: 4 tablespoons
  • Garlic, minced: 4 cloves
  • Honey: 3 tablespoons
  • Soy sauce: 2 tablespoons
  • Red pepper flakes: 1/4 teaspoon (optional)
  • Salt and pepper: To taste

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Step 2: In a large bowl, toss the broccoli florets with 2 tablespoons of melted butter, salt, and pepper. Spread broccoli evenly on the prepared baking sheet.
  3. Step 3: Bake the broccoli for 10 minutes.
  4. Step 4: While the broccoli is baking, in the same bowl (no need to wash it), combine the shrimp, remaining 2 tablespoons of melted butter, minced garlic, honey, soy sauce, and red pepper flakes (if using). Toss to coat well.
  5. Step 5: Remove the baking sheet from the oven and spread the shrimp mixture evenly over the broccoli.
  6. Step 6: Return the baking sheet to the oven and bake for another 8-10 minutes, or until the shrimp is pink and cooked through and the broccoli is tender-crisp. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days, ensuring the shrimp stays fresh.
  • Reheat gently in a skillet over medium-low heat to prevent the shrimp from becoming rubbery.
  • Serve over rice or quinoa to soak up the delicious honey garlic butter sauce.
  • For extra flavorful shrimp, marinate it in the honey garlic mixture for 15 minutes before baking, but don't over-marinate or the shrimp will become mushy.
