Ingredients
- Chocolate Wafer Cookies, crushed: 1 1/2 cups
- Powdered Sugar: 1 cup
- Unsweetened Cocoa Powder: 1/2 cup
- Creamy Peanut Butter: 1 cup
- Butter, softened: 1/2 cup (1 stick)
- Milk: 3 tablespoons
- Vanilla Extract: 1 teaspoon
- Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips: 1 cup (for melting)
Instructions
- Step 1: In a large bowl, combine the crushed chocolate wafer cookies, powdered sugar, and cocoa powder. Mix well to ensure all ingredients are evenly distributed.
- Step 2: Add the softened butter, peanut butter, milk, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients. Mix thoroughly until a well-combined dough forms. It may be a bit crumbly at first, but it should come together with a little mixing.
- Step 3: Roll the dough into small, bite-sized balls (about 1 inch in diameter). Place the rolled balls onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Step 4: Melt the semi-sweet chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until completely smooth. Alternatively, melt the chocolate using a double boiler.
- Step 5: Dip each ball into the melted chocolate, ensuring it's fully coated. Place the chocolate-covered balls back onto the parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Step 6: Refrigerate the "Moose Farts" for at least 30 minutes, or until the chocolate has set completely. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
Notes
- Keep these moose farts chilled in the fridge for optimal firmness and a delightful snap with each bite.
- Since these are no-bake, no reheating is needed – just grab one straight from the fridge when a craving strikes!
- Serve these whimsical treats on a platter with colorful sprinkles for an extra touch of fun.
- If the dough is too dry, add milk one teaspoon at a time until it reaches a workable consistency.
