- Olive oil: 2 tablespoons
- Honey: 3 tablespoons
- Soy sauce: 2 tablespoons
- Garlic: 2 cloves, minced
- Rice vinegar: 1 tablespoon
- Red pepper flakes: 1/4 teaspoon (optional)
- Salt and pepper: to taste
Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Step 2: Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels and season with salt and pepper.
- Step 3: In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, rice vinegar, and red pepper flakes (if using).
- Step 4: Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet. Brush the honey garlic glaze generously over the top of each fillet.
- Step 5: Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. Basting with glaze halfway through.

Notes
- Store leftover salmon in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
- To reheat, gently warm the salmon in a low oven or microwave, being careful not to overcook it and dry it out.
- This glazed salmon is delicious served over rice with steamed broccoli or asparagus for a complete and healthy meal.
- For extra crispy edges, position the salmon closer to the broiler during the final minute, but keep a close eye on it to avoid burning the honey glaze.
