- 1 medium apple, peeled, cored, and diced
- 1/2 cup fresh or frozen cranberries

- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon

- 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)
Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a small oven-safe dish or ramekin.
- Step 2: In the prepared dish, combine the diced apple and cranberries.
- Step 3: In a separate small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon.
- Step 4: Add the rolled oats and flour to the butter mixture and stir until combined. If using, stir in the chopped nuts.
- Step 5: Sprinkle the oat mixture evenly over the apple and cranberry mixture.
- Step 6: Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the fruit is tender. Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
- Reheat individual portions gently in the microwave for about 30 seconds.
