Ingredients
Scale
- 1 box Red Lobster Cheddar Bay Biscuit Mix
- 1/2 cup cold milk
- 1/4 cup melted butter, divided
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup cooked crab meat, drained
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions
- 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Prepare the Cheddar Bay Biscuit dough according to the package directions, using milk and half of the melted butter.
- Step 2: In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, crab meat, mayonnaise, green onions, and Old Bay seasoning. Mix well until thoroughly combined.
- Step 3: Drop spoonfuls of the biscuit dough onto the prepared baking sheet. Use your fingers to make a small well in the center of each biscuit.
- Step 4: Fill each well with a generous amount of the crab mixture.
- Step 5: Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown and the crab filling is heated through.
- Step 6: Brush the remaining melted butter over the hot biscuits immediately after removing them from the oven. Serve warm.
Notes
- Store leftover biscuits in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days to maintain their cheesy, crabby goodness.
- For best results, reheat biscuits in a 350°F oven for 5-7 minutes to revive their texture and warm the filling.
- Serve these delightful biscuits with a side of lemon wedges for a bright, complementary flavor that enhances the crab.
- For extra flavorful biscuits, gently fold the crab mixture into the cream cheese rather than overmixing, ensuring tender crab pieces in every bite.
