Ingredients
- Ground chicken: 1 pound
- Cooked white rice: 2 cups
- Cream of mushroom soup: 1 can (10.75 ounces)
- French fried onions: 1 can (2.8 ounces), divided
- Frozen mixed vegetables: 1 cup
- Milk: 1/2 cup
- Soy sauce: 1 tablespoon
- Salt and pepper: to taste
Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Step 2: In a large skillet, brown the ground chicken over medium heat. Drain off any excess grease. Season with salt and pepper.
- Step 3: In a large bowl, combine the browned ground chicken, cooked rice, cream of mushroom soup, frozen mixed vegetables, milk, and soy sauce. Mix well.
- Step 4: Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish.
- Step 5: Sprinkle half of the French fried onions evenly over the top of the mixture.
- Step 6: Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until heated through and bubbly. Top with the remaining French fried onions during the last 5 minutes of baking.
