Ingredients
- Ground beef: 1 pound
- Cheddar cheese: 8 ounces, cubed
- Refrigerated biscuit dough: 1 can (8 biscuits)
- Onion: 1/2 medium, finely chopped
- Ketchup: 2 tablespoons
- Mustard: 1 tablespoon
- Worcestershire sauce: 1 teaspoon
- Salt and pepper: to taste
Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat. Drain off any excess grease.
- Step 2: Stir in the chopped onion, ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper to the cooked ground beef. Mix well.
- Step 3: Separate the biscuit dough. Flatten each biscuit into a thin circle.
- Step 4: Place a spoonful of the beef mixture in the center of each biscuit, followed by a cube of cheddar cheese.
- Step 5: Bring the edges of the dough up and around the filling, pinching them together tightly to seal and form a ball.
- Step 6: Place the cheeseburger bombs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
Notes
- Store cooled cheeseburger bombs in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- For best results, reheat cheeseburger bombs in an oven or air fryer to re-crisp the dough.
- Serve these delightful bombs with a side of dill pickle spears and your favorite burger toppings for dipping.
- Don't overfill the biscuit dough – too much filling will make them difficult to seal and may cause them to burst while baking!
