Ingredients
- Ground beef: 1 pound
- Refrigerated crescent roll dough: 1 (8 ounce) can
- Cheddar cheese, shredded: 1 cup
- Onion, finely chopped: 1/4 cup
- Ketchup: 2 tablespoons
- Mustard: 1 tablespoon
- Dill pickle chips, chopped: 1/4 cup
- Egg, beaten: 1 large
Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium-high heat. Drain off any excess grease.
- Step 2: Stir in the chopped onion, ketchup, and mustard into the cooked ground beef. Simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
- Step 3: Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate into 8 triangles. Sprinkle each triangle with shredded cheddar cheese.
- Step 4: Place a spoonful of the ground beef mixture onto the wide end of each triangle. Top with chopped pickle chips.
- Step 5: Roll up each triangle, starting at the wide end, and pinch the seams to seal. Brush each "bomb" with beaten egg.
- Step 6: Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown. Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- Store any leftover cheeseburger bombs in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- Reheat in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 5-7 minutes, or until warmed through.
- Serve these warm with extra ketchup and mustard for dipping.
- For extra flavorful bombs, sauté the chopped onion in the skillet with the ground beef until softened before adding the ketchup and mustard.
