Ingredients
Scale
- 1 box (15.25 oz) cake mix (any flavor)
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Step 2: In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla extract. Mix until well combined and a smooth dough forms.
- Step 3: Place granulated sugar and powdered sugar in separate shallow bowls.
- Step 4: Roll the dough into 1-inch balls. First, roll each ball in the granulated sugar, then roll in the powdered sugar, ensuring it's fully coated.
- Step 5: Place the sugar-coated dough balls on the prepared baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
- Step 6: Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the edges are set and the tops are cracked. Let cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
