Ingredients
- Lobster meat, cooked and chopped: 1 cup
- Imitation crab meat, flaked: 1 cup
- Fettuccine pasta: 1 pound
- Heavy cream: 2 cups
- Butter: 1/2 cup
- Parmesan cheese, grated: 1 cup
- Cajun seasoning: 2 tablespoons
- Garlic, minced: 2 cloves
Instructions
- Step 1: Cook fettuccine according to package directions. Drain, reserving about 1 cup of pasta water.
- Step 2: While pasta is cooking, melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Step 3: Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Reduce heat to low and stir in Parmesan cheese and Cajun seasoning. Continue stirring until cheese is melted and sauce is smooth.
- Step 4: Add lobster and imitation crab meat to the Alfredo sauce. Heat through, stirring gently to avoid breaking up the seafood.
- Step 5: Add cooked fettuccine to the skillet with the sauce. Toss to coat, adding a little reserved pasta water if needed to reach desired consistency.
- Step 6: Serve immediately, garnished with additional Parmesan cheese if desired.
Notes
- Refrigerate leftovers promptly in an airtight container, but remember the sauce will thicken as it cools.
- When reheating, add a splash of milk or cream to the sauce to restore its creamy consistency and prevent it from becoming too thick.
- Serve this decadent Alfredo with a crisp green salad and crusty bread to soak up every last bit of the delicious sauce.
- For an extra burst of flavor, try searing the lobster meat in a hot pan with a touch of butter and Cajun seasoning before adding it to the Alfredo.
