Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb Salmon fillet, skin on or off
- 4 oz Boursin cheese, softened
- 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh dill
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Step 2: In a small bowl, combine the softened Boursin cheese, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, chopped dill, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix well until thoroughly combined and creamy.
- Step 3: Place the salmon fillet on the prepared baking sheet. Spread the Boursin mixture evenly over the top of the salmon, ensuring it's coated completely.
- Step 4: Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. The cooking time will depend on the thickness of your salmon fillet.
- Step 5: Remove from the oven and let rest for a couple of minutes before serving. Serve immediately. Garnish with extra fresh dill, if desired.
Notes
- Store leftover salmon in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
- Reheat gently in a microwave or oven at a low temperature to avoid drying it out.
- Serve this elegant salmon with a side of roasted asparagus or a simple green salad for a complete and balanced meal.
- For extra zing, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the Boursin mixture before spreading it on the salmon.
