Instructions
- Step 1: In a large bowl, combine the diced apples, chopped celery, and nuts (if using).
- Step 2: In a separate small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, lemon juice, sugar, and cinnamon until smooth.
- Step 3: Pour the dressing over the apple mixture and stir gently to coat all the ingredients evenly.
- Step 4: Add raisins if using and mix gently.
- Step 5: Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld before serving.
Notes
- To prevent browning, toss the diced apples with lemon juice immediately after cutting.
